Lib Dem team at the Manifesto Launch
Lib Dem candidates today gathered at Delapre Abbey to launch the Manifesto for a further 4 years in the Guildhall making a real difference for the people of Northampton.
Cllr Brian Hoare, Lib Dem leader of the Borough Council, states in the foreword to the Manifesto ”The town is at a crossroads making the result of this years Borough elections critical. The town has clear choice: Continue with the very real improvements made by the hard-working Liberal Democrat Councillors since 2007 or return to the chaos of the previous Conservative administration, led by the same Conservative Councillors that failed us last time?”

“It would be easy to make frivolous promises and claims that are uncosted and undeliverable but only a desperate party would treat voters with such contempt.” said Scott after the launch on hearing the latest claim from the Conservative opposition for free parking in Northampton.
