Well the true community spirit has come to the fore over the recent cold and snowy period.
From tales of neighbours looking out for each other in the South of the County when snowed in last week to communities coming to gether to celebrate Christmas.
In villages like Syresham where more than 10 inches of snow brought normal life to a standstill to places like St Crispins on the edge of Northampton where residents came together to sing in the streets with their Christingle festival. Not forgetting annual community events in Brackley and Towcester.
Although the Towcester Carol Service was moved indoors this year due to a combination of cold weather and some heavy health and safety rules being enforced this year.
It didnt stop some enthusiastic singing and enjoying the wonderful mince pies and mulled wine.
