Scott and Local Lib Dems are supporting Towcester Residents Unite(TRU) a non party camapign to prevent the relocation of South Northants Council's offices from there current location on Springfields to the new regeneration project on Moat Lane in Towcester. "Having attended the public meeting in the Town Hall and received many emails it is a disgrace that South Northants Council has failed to listen to residents concerns".
The first ever TV debate between the three candidates to be the next Chancellor has seen Lib Dem Vince Cable win a clear victory.
